Terms of Service
These Terms govern the Nomademy web service operated by Rihlix LLC (“Nomademy,” “we,” or “us”). By creating an account, accepting these Terms in the product, or using the service, you agree to them and to our Privacy Policy.
1. Eligibility and accounts
- You must be at least 18 years old and located in the United States or its territories.
- You must provide accurate information, protect your credentials, and promptly report suspected unauthorized access.
- We may limit, suspend, or end access to protect users, the service, or our providers.
2. Free trial, subscription, and limits
New accounts receive a 21-day free trial with full access; no payment method is required to start the trial. When the trial ends, continued use of AI features requires a Nomademy Plus subscription (currently USD $11.99/month; annual billing and student discounts are shown at checkout). Payments are processed by Stripe; subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled, and you can cancel any time from Settings, effective at the end of the current billing period. Your stored material remains accessible after a trial or subscription ends.
Each account currently receives up to 150 general AI generation reservations and 50 source-ingestion reservations per UTC month, with up to two AI jobs at a time. Audio Overview has a separate monthly allowance: two reservations during the free trial and ten with an active Nomademy Plus subscription. A reservation counts while work is active or after it succeeds; a recorded failure releases the reserved allowance. We may reduce or disable costly features to control abuse, safety risk, or provider spend.
3. Study content and permissions
You retain the rights you have in material you upload or create. You grant us a limited license to host, process, copy, and transmit that material only as needed to operate, secure, support, and improve the service for you. You must have permission to upload the material and must not use Nomademy to infringe another person’s rights.
4. AI-assisted output
Nomademy sends relevant instructions and excerpts of your study material to an AI provider to create study aids, including synthesized Audio Overviews. Each Audio Overview is a two-host conversation no longer than five minutes. Text, speech, and other AI-assisted outputs can be incomplete, inaccurate, or inappropriate; review them against your source material before relying on them. Nomademy is not a substitute for a teacher, professional advice, source material, or independent verification. The service does not provide a live voice tutor.
5. Sharing
If you create an “anyone with the link” share, people who obtain that link may view and copy the shared study set. Link sharing does not publish the set to a searchable community directory. Do not share confidential, regulated, or third-party material unless you have authority to do so. You can revoke a share, but copies already made by other members are separate from the original.
6. Acceptable use
You may not:
- break the law, violate intellectual-property or privacy rights, or upload malicious content;
- seek unauthorized access, bypass quotas or security controls, probe other accounts, or disrupt the service;
- use automated means to scrape the service or resell access without our written permission;
- submit highly sensitive personal information, credentials, payment-card data, health records, or government identifiers; or
- use generated content to deceive, harm, harass, discriminate, or make high-impact decisions about another person.
7. Service ownership and feedback
Nomademy and its licensors own the service, interface, software, and branding, excluding your content. If you send feedback, you permit us to use it without restriction or payment, but we will not identify you publicly as its source without permission.
8. Availability and disclaimers
Features, limits, and data formats may change; service may be interrupted; and errors or data loss may occur. To the maximum extent allowed by law, the service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, accuracy, or uninterrupted operation. Nothing in these Terms excludes rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.
9. Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Rihlix LLC and its suppliers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or lost-profit damages arising from the service. Our aggregate liability will not exceed the greater of USD $100 or the amounts you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. This limitation does not apply where prohibited by law.
10. Ending access, export, and deletion
You may stop using the service at any time. The account settings provide the available export and deletion workflows; you may also contact us if a workflow fails. Deletion is an asynchronous process because active data, private files, sessions, and vendor requests must be reconciled. Limited security and compliance records, and encrypted backups that age out on provider schedules, may remain as described in the Privacy Policy.
11. Changes and governing law
We may update these Terms. If a material change requires renewed consent, we will ask you to accept the new version before continuing. Applicable law governs these Terms, and any mandatory consumer protections remain unaffected.
